The notorious RBG: In addition to many other important titles, she was a lawyer, professor, Supreme Court Justice, and as far as we’re concerned, an AMAZING HUMAN BEING.
Throughout her 87 years, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a great proponent of equal rights for everyone, especially women. She was the cofounder of the Women's Rights Project at the ACLU and so we chose the quote, "Women belong in all places where decisions are being made," for her fabric nametag.
As easy as equality for women is for folks like you and us to understand, we are still waiting for this to be a universal truth. As the well-known song goes, “That’s right, the women are smarter, the women are smarter that’s right.” We love you RBG! You are missed.
